Windows Server System Administrator In-house Microsoft MCSE who is also a Microsoft Dynamics CRM certified IT Professional. Responsibilities would include the day to day management and support of: our 150 Employee/900 User Windows 2003/2008 Domain, Exchange 2007, Office Communicator 2007 and Dynamics CRM 4 environment. Job Responsibilities: - Able to respond in timely fashion to end-user needs and concerns relating to computer business applications (Quickbooks Enterprise.) and general systems issues (Office 2010, E-mail, printing, etc.).
- First line support for all software including Office 2010, Windows 7, Office Communications Server, Outlook Client
- First line support for all hardware including HP & IBM Laptop/desktops, Monitors and Printers
- Identifies diagnosis, and resolves technical problems, problem escalation and solution tracking.
- Day to day maintenance of network servers (backups, administration, hardware maintenance)
- Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills as an IS professional to train, instruct and educate groups and individuals in a team environment.
- Works with IS Manager in designing technical systems and architecture.
- Handles multiple project responsibilities simultaneously, to prioritize work and resolve technical emergencies as they may occur.
- Provide for efficient computer and system operation, including total throughput, CPU use, peripheral operation, and application performance statistics.
- Coordinate and communicate the change control process, in conjunction with Team Members and clients, to ensure efficient processing.
- Implement all changes in the production environment.
- Provide for efficient database operations, including total throughput, input/output analysis and performance statistics.
- Establish database management criteria including transaction logging, backups, restore and recover, and disaster recovery.
- Coordinate software upgrades with software vendors and Team Members as necessary.
- Coordinate capacity, planning and analyze information concerning:
- Job-processing time, response times, hardware, software and utilization, CPU loads.
- Monitor system device capacities and status.
- Coordinate and control system tuning and hardware tuning and hardware integration.
EDUCATION: - Associate or bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Technology.
EXPERIENCE: - Five years related experience; to include technical analysis, systems programming, computer service/repair.
- Knowledge of computer network products.
- Five years experience in and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Have practical experience upgrading from Exchange 2007 to 2010 and Active Directory 2003 to 2008.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to meet stated customer initiated deadlines.
- Strong skills in written and oral communication and critical thinking.
- Ability to handle multiple projects/assignments concurrently and be very results-oriented.
- Highly motivated and works well both independently and in a team environment.
